HTML Templates

Recommended Posts

I wanted to create my own note template with HTML.

I started to fiddle with a content.enml file i found in the database. Seems pretty straightforward html + css so i started editing the file but after saving there are no changes at all.

I found that on the other hand, changes in note.xhtml are reflected in the note but then they are not transfered to the content.enml file.

Should i create a template using note.xhtml and then use it somehow as a template?

This article doesn't seem to mention what to do – https://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/enml.php

First off, its not a great idea to mess around in the database

The best way would be to export the note in .enex format; edit, and then import it
