How to change my email to another who has an account?

Well...

I made a mistake.

 

Some years ago I created an account, and stopped using evernote, to come back last year.

I created a new account using a different email, and now I would like to change my email to that email..

What do I need to do? Deactivate that account and change email?

 Evernote considers an email address as "in use" even if it's associated with a deactivated account. The instructions on how to swap the two emails are listed in detail here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004757
