Ticket# 1433703 - why don't you include in iOS a copy and paste function so we can at least write some things together

It dawned on me that there's no way to copy and paste pictures or text from one note to another within a Evernote that was also an emerging issues

Hi,
Thanks for clarifying this for me. I understand that this behavior is not intuitive especially when other applications don't behave this way.
I'll pass along this suggestion accordingly. I also recommend posting the request on the product feedback page which can be found here. This page is actively monitored by our product team and is guaranteed to be seen by them.
Thanks again for reaching out and if you have any other suggestion or questions please let us know.
Respectfully,

I applied myself so far as to "find" an " edit mode"
Unsuccessful yet undaunted I found that
-if I put the insertion point to the right of the picture and tap the picture then I get a menu that comes up and says "copy"
-But the reason I presented the problem to you was because the behavior does not act on iOS the same as when I copy every other kind of picture
* most of the copy function in iOS are presented for selection after tapping ON the picture and then the action (selection) menu comes up
This behavior that I discovered where the insertion point must be to the right of the JPG and then one must press or tap the picture is a step that was not considered and does not follow in the same behavior for my expectations
So I present this to you for consideration at least I know now
what I need to do
whenI want to consolidate notes in iOS
as you do not have a merge function yet for iOS
I do wish that you would consider the merge function
because this is tedious
and contrary to what Evernote tries to solve for its users

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to Evernote. My name is Hector and I would be more than happy to help you with your inquiry. To get a better understanding on what's going on i'd like to ask you a few questions.
First, when you try and copy your images and text are you in edit mode on the iPhone (keyboard is visible) or are you in view mode (no keyboard is visible)?
Is this issue happening on every note you have or just specific notes?
Lastly, where did the content you are trying to copy come from? Was it from a website or other web content?
I appreciate your patience and assistance during the troubleshooting process. I look forward to your response.
Respectfully,
Hector
