JonAg 0 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Is there an easy way to give a note a name and have the attachment have the same name? Presently I have to rename the note, copy the name, rename the attachement, and paste the new name.
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,119 Posted February 10, 2016 Level 5* Posted February 10, 2016 You can do this: Rename the file before you attach it to Evernote Move the file to an Evernote Import Folder This will create a new note who Title is the same as the file name, and attach the file If you are using EN Mac, which does not have the "Import Folder" feature, you can just drag the file to the EN Mac icon in the Dock.

As @JMichaelTXposted, rename the attachment before importing. I have the same process as you. My scans go to an import folder and get uploaded automatically to Evernote. I end up with the note "Scan nnn". I simply rename the note, usually not bothering with renaming the attachment (but I should)
