(Archived) close window on main window?

hi all,

if i open a note via doubleclick, it opens in a new window.

i now, can press APPLE+W or choose -> FILE -> CLOSE to close that window.

ok, i understand, this is quite usefull with more than 1 note open.

but i can do choose CLOSE too, if only the mainwindow is on screen. (showing the list of notes)

if i choose CLOSE then, the mainwindow just disapears.

i can't see why this can be useful.

anybody can tell me?

You can open multiple "main" windows via: File > New Evernote Window

This would allow you to see your list of recipes in one window and your ToDo lists in a separate window (for example).

The "Close" operation will close one of those.
