Uninstall Evernote Version 6.1.1 (452253 Direct)

When I uninstall programs I usually move it to the trash from the applications folder. when I do this for my Evernote version. The Evernote helper still resides on top of my screen and I can see entries is my system prefs in notifications. 

 

Could you tell me what the procedure is to uninstall?

OK - health warning:  I don't use Mac,  so this is copied from another thread,  but it seems relevant...  use at your own risk!

• Goto Mac Preferences > Users & Groups > YourUserName > Login Items
• Remove all items with Evernote or EvernoteHelper in the name
• Restart your Mac
• Do a Spotlight and/or Finder search on "Evernote", and remove any items you found that you don't want
• then restart your Mac
• If all else fails, try using an app uninstaller like AppDelete or AppCleaner
