Momofthrees 6
As a genealogist, I often tag notes with my ancestors names so I know which ancestors I have searched on a certain roll of microfilm. But since we can only have 100 tags per note, this limits me to researching 100 ancestors per roll of film. Is there anyway the number of tags per note limit can be raised? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,328 Posted October 1, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted October 1, 2015 Hi. You'd need to change your system somewhat, but while there's no way to increase the number of tags per note, there's no limit on the number of words you can add to the content. Could you repurpose your tag names with something searchable (Means alpha letters and numbers and underlines) and unique - like T_john_jones T_anne jones - and simplay add those to the body? You could even keep strings of tag text in an 'admin' note and cut/ paste into your individual records, or use something like Phrase Express (http://www.phraseexpress.com/) to generate standard 'paragraphs' of such text with a hotkey.
