IRonguru 0 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 On FIrefox, the Web Clipper does not show the URL for the clipped page in the Note. Thus, I cannot get back to the page on the web, which I often want to do. I thought this issue was being addressed back in January 2015??
jbignert 473 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Have you checked in the info section of the note? Look for an 'i' icon in the note toolbar area, that's where it goes.
hsuzanne22 1 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I am also having the same trouble. Without an option to save the url, the note does me no good. The only options in this new webclipper are clip full screen, clip rectangle, and record. There is no option for saving the url. If I name the note then go into the note to see what's listed under "i" Information - I see nothing. I need to be able to clip the url
jbignert 473 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 The URL of the source is always clipped no matter what type of clip you make with the Web Clipper. It's added as meta data to the note.
hsuzanne22 1 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I figured out what I did wrong. I was using the Evernote icon at the top right hand of my mac (which takes me to my desktop Evernote), not the webclipper on the navigation bar.
