Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted July 8, 2015 Level 5 Posted July 8, 2015 When an email becomes popular, it is forwarded several times and eventually shows up in my mailbox. The text is pushed over to the right side due to some vertical lines on the left side. If I send the email to Evernote, the vertical lines are included. Is there a way to eliminate them and bring the text & photos flush to the left side?
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,119 Posted July 8, 2015 Level 5* Posted July 8, 2015 JB, I think this depends on the email app, and its settings. I use Outlook, and there are settings that control how replies are handled. If you want to get rid of these lines when you forward to Evernote, you can try the Format > Simplify Formatting.
Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted July 8, 2015 Author Level 5 Posted July 8, 2015 Thank you JMichael. I tried the Simplify Formatting feature when it was first released and I thought it did not handle photos.Looks like I was wrong. I gave it a try and it cleaned up the email significantly. I had to do some minor tweaking. The result was just what I was looking for. Here is the simplified email - subject: bomb sniffing ratshttp://www.evernote.com/l/AALsmbYA049CSJ2Ijsm-3mKwGYIUY15RxnA/
