Recovering Notebook

I accidentally deleted a notebook (I thought I was just deleting the shortcut) and had to recover the deleted items from the trash by sorting by delete date. However, the recovered notes just went to my default notebook. Is the notebook information for a note lost when it goes into the trash? Is there some way of identifying those notes to recreate the notebook?

Hi.  The Trash folder is a safety net for deleted notes but it doesn't include specifics about the notebook they came from.  You should still be able to identify the notes by their (very recent) 'updated date',  but that's as much as you'll get.  You might want to look into backing up your database locally too - regular backups are a handy insurance against the occasional major fumble.
