What am I doing wrong? Edit not taking on the droid.

I entered an new text note. It appeared to sync immediately.

I came back later and added another line. But when I 'save' - it returns to display mode w/o the update!

When you click "Save", it will display the old note for a moment until it can upload the changes and then download the edited note from the service. On my Droid on WiFi, this only takes a second, but it may be longer on slower networks. We'll look into changing this to make it more obvious what's happening so it doesn't look like the edit failed.

You must have the fastest wifi/net server !! On a regular wifi connection - where I get good response time, home dsl - I saved, went out - accessed other apps, came back - went out - several times - gave up but when I cam back it was updated. I not complaining per se - wish it was different - but now that I know - I can work with it !!
