Where did my sidebar list go?

My apologies as this is the first post I have ever made to any kind of forum.  I am not the most tech savvy person, so I am not sure how this works.  I am wondering why I can no longer see my lists on the left sidebar.  It is like they have disappeared.  I can search and they will come up, but I need to see the entire list at a glance.  The entire list is there on the web version, but not on my desktop PC version which is what I use 100% of the time.  Please advise.

That box is indeed checked.

Have you accidentally moved the middle pane (the one showing snippets) all the way out to the left? If so, use the handle to slide it back to the right.

I don't believe so, but I am really lost here.  I know that this must seem ridiculous.  I have attached a screen shot.

It is not your notebook list. Do the following:

Menu: View/NoteList, then tick Show note list and tick one of the 3 options below.

You might grow to like the toggling back and forth to hide/ show either of the panels... in which case you could play around with F10 and F11. You may have inadvertently hit F11 and hidden the Note List...

That makes sense.  I will try the toggling.  I would bet you might be right about me inadvertently hitting F11.  Stranger things have happened. Thanks!
