jmparsons 0
I am unable to update my current version of Evernote (5.8.1). I get an error message, "Evernote was already installed by another user." How can I get around this? Joe Parsons Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,721 Posted April 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 10, 2015 Hi. You probably have some leftover files on your hardisk from an old installation (or an attempt to install). Download REVO uninstaller (free version is fine) and do a clean Evernote uninstall. Mmake sure you backup your username.exb file (that's where all your notes are stored). http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Then install Evernote again and you should be fine.
