Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted March 18, 2015 Level 5 Share Posted March 18, 2015 No - I belive the same rules apply to both Mac and Windows. The chat term, in my opinion, is Evernote's way to get your acquaintances to create an Evernote account. It is a rather heavy-handed marketing approach. I tried to share a family notebook with my wife, but she does not have (and does not want) an Evernote account and was not able to view it. You can share individual notes with the url method, but if you want to share a notebook, the recipient will have to have an Evernote account. Someone else might have a sneaky method to get around this restriction. Link to comment
