Evernote not responding

i have a laptop and a desktop all mac. my desktop app is not responding. can i simply delete and reinstall? the desktop was the first download and not sure where all my data is stored - on the browser? will i lose my data if i reinstall the app on the desktop?

Hi.  If this is a recent install,  why do you think you have notes stored anywhere?  Have you created any notes?  Were they synced to Evernote's server?  If you wish to uninstall and reinstall the desktop app installed on your computer,  that should not affect any notes that are stored elsewhere,  but the important question is - where are they stored?  Log in to your account via https://www.evernote.com/Login.action?targetUrl=%2FHome.action to see what Evernote has stored.

i finally was able to download the latest version and it seems to be ok. first time on the forum and don't see a 'resolved' option. thank you for responding to my question.

You should be able to edit the title to add [Resolved] at the start...
