Hayward 0
Is it possible to delete a Context card from the bottom of a note if I consider it irrelevant? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,077 Posted January 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 10, 2015 Always good to specify which Evernote clients you use - there are different teams for Windows / Mac / Android / iOS etc... but AFAIK there's no option (yet) to delete a prompt as you suggest. It would seem a good way to help Evernote learn what sort of context is most usefull for you, so maybe one or all of the teams will take this on board for a future version. Unless they already thought of it... Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 12,077 Posted January 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 10, 2015 Context (Windows Desktop) - switch the response on or off via Tools > Options > Context Link to comment
Hayward 0
Thank you Gazumped. I use Evernote Premium for Windows and Android. I think 'Context' is a good idea but sometimes I get an item which is not relevant and that is why I would like to remove it, leaving others. Perhaps someone is listening. Hayward Link to comment
Chandler 0
Thank you indeed for the response, however, i have checked there and not found anything. There is no Context tab in my options window. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,077 Posted January 12, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 12, 2015 Context is a premium subscriber only feature - there's also a "related notes" pop-up which everyone gets - is this what you're seeing? Link to comment
cabji 2
Chandler: See "No Context"'s post: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/79342-how-to-get-rid-of-related-to-what-youre-working-on-popup/#entry334832in thread: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/79342-how-to-get-rid-of-related-to-what-youre-working-on-popup/ Context is a premium feature and free users having it is currently a bug, but free users have no way to turn it off because they don't have the options in the interface. You can do what No Context says in his post (edit the registry). Close Evernote client. To run regedit in Windows 8, click to the Start screen and go to the search input or swipe from the right and go to Search.Type in regedit and it will find regedit.exe.Click it.Click Yes to confirm running regedit.Browse to the location in No Context's post and edit the ShowContext value from 1 to 0.Close regedit.Open Evernote and Context should not appear again. Chandler 0
Thank you for the instructions. If it is just a bug, then I assume it will be fixed in the future - I can handle that. Thank you very much for the information. Link to comment
