Paul48th 0
What is Evernote doing about shared notes being constantly spammed out by servers? Over 50% of my shared notes never reach the addressee. I can't imagine paying for this service if this isn't addressed. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,043 Posted January 7, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 7, 2015 It's possibly the individual spam folders of your recipients. It may be helpful to 'share' a note with your own email address to check the "sent by" information, then advise the people with whom you're sharing notes by normal email that a message is on the way / has been sent. Once they have set their mailbox to receive one, they should be able to receive any. Link to comment
Paul48th 0
Already do this but it only helps a minor few. Most never see the email even in their spam folder. Its filtered out by their servers. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,043 Posted January 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 10, 2015 If it's a question of a shared note or several - you could share one note publicly - using 'purloined letter' security. If there are other relevant notes, share them publicly but include their URLs in the first note as a TOC. Your share-ees only have one URL to remember and you can always publicly share new notes and add their URLs to the original after the initial email. Overall security is mainly missing, but if you use acronyms and don't quote specifics you could still share some useful (small c) context... Link to comment
Frank.dg 1,385
Nice @Gazumped. Sharing a TOC in one note of other public note links. Must be many good use cases for that. Link to comment
