Synchronization failure on Evernote for Mac

Evernote on my Mac is no longer able to synchronize with the service... each time it attempts to sync I receive two error messages. One refers to a specific note it is unable synchronize, and the other message is a general synchronization error "OSStatus error -9800". I am unable to locate the offending note, so I am not sure how to address that problem. In the meantime, I have tried restarting the app, and also the Mac, but the errors persist.

 

Any ideas?

Empty your trash notebook / check any conflicting changes notes and have a look at note sizes.  If a recent note is especially large - >15MB try putting that into a Local (unsynced) Notebook and sync again...
