Can't open notes on my Mac since updating Evernote on my iPad

Yesterday I received a notice to upgrade Evernote on my iPad which I did.  Now, while I can see the small card of the notes on my Mac, I can't open any if the notes on my Mac,  I can't even see the notes in the larger side panel when I click on them.  What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help or advice.

Trust me,  there's no connection between upgrading your iPad and display problems with the Mac.  What version of Evernote is installed on the Mac?

I have version 6.0.3.  I have tried rebooting with still no luck.

If you haven't solved this yet,  try updating to 6.0.5
