rkyver 0 Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 i really need to make a backup external to evernote. i read the article at https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#/article/23186097, and the archive .enex option seems to be suitable. however, right-clicking in evernote touch brings up a toolbar with only sync on it. i tried to install evernote win desktop, but i get the error message: (,\bootstrapper.cpp:915) 0x643:fatal error during installation. I'd suggest you use the desktop version from which to backup your database. Touch seems a tad feature-poor... Link to comment

Step one, as @Gazumped suggested, would be to focus on getting over the technical issues of installing the desktop client. Link to comment
