Scanned documents going to wrong notebook

Lance KKKKKKKKKK

Idea

I've been happily using Evernote with my Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 for years now, and all of a sudden my scans are now going to a synched "Penultimate" notebook instead of my offline un-synched notebook.

What can I do to make the scans go to my offline notebook as they've done for 2 years now?  What would have changed?

I don't want my personal notes being uploaded to the internet.

Thanks

Did you update Evernote recently?  There's a feature called 'smart filing' that allows Evernote to choose the destination for emails and clips - don't know that it applies to scanned documents,  but -

A setting here https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action allows Evernote to choose the location for emails.  Not likely to be relevant because this is an online feature and you're scanning to an offline notebook.

Smart filing web clippings can be disabled in the web clipper options.

If you still have the original installation guide,  you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the ScanSnap and any related software...

I've been happily using Evernote with my Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 for years now, and all of a sudden my scans are now going to a synched "Penultimate" notebook by default instead of my offline un-synched notebook.  Now I have to manually move each scan to my offline notebook.  This is very disappointing, as it makes Evernote an unviable solution now.  Even more annoying, there is a ScanSnap tab in Preferences that is grayed out.

If anyone knows how to fix please help.
