Stan Zukowski 7
Before a recent update, Evernote on Android had audio controls for embedded mp3 files. Play, pause, stop. However, after a recent software update (not sure which one exactly), the audio controls disappeared. Or rather, play remains, but stop and pause disappeared. They used to be at the top when the audio file was playing, but now there's nothing there. Now the only way to stop an audio file from playing on Android is to exit the file and reopen the file.I've been using Evernote on my android phone to save mp3 snippets of songs that my band and I know so that we can refer to them when we're playing. It was a great way to keep track of more than a hundred songs. But now it's pretty much useless. Is anybody else having this experience as well? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,698 Posted December 6, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted December 6, 2014 Hadn't noticed. I tend to use another Android app for simple recording - Voice Recorder; it has the controls you mention, and I can copy the output file to Evernote so it's available on other devices too. Stan Zukowski 7
I don't use EN for recording. I use (or at least DID use) EN for playback. The play function is still there, but the pause and stop buttons have disappeared -- at least for me. Do you still have pause/stop buttons when playing a sound file? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,698 Posted December 8, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted December 8, 2014 Hmmn. I have playback controls, but they're part of the app which recorded the sound file, not Evernote. My SG3 replays files with an external app. Not sure how I arranged that... Link to comment
