It has affected me for at least a year.It usually happens when the note contains a photo that fills the width of the note. My band-aid work-around fix is to slightly re-size the width of the note by a few pixels. (by grabbing the vertical edge of separator bar between the note and the panel beside it) Link to comment

I have seen it happen when I use a non-standard large font style. My Evernote Windows view is the Vertical List View (Ctrl + Shft + F5) Grabbing the separator bar between the panels is difficult.
