I can't see my notes on my desktop PC but they show up on the Evernote website. Why would this happen?

Because your desktop PC isn't syncing properly with the web?  Try signing out of Evernote on the PC / restart the PC and then log back in.

Did you enter the notes on your PC? To be sure, Windows client?

Thank you. I did as gazumped said and everything is working. Duh!
