Changing the background colour

Hello,

 

Does anyone know where one can change the colour of the background? The one that's now become a _very_ bright shade of grey. I'd love to chnage to a slightly darker shade of grey, such as the one used in the web version. The shade of grey used in the mac client is just too bright. It's all very low contrast as well. Where can I change this, I can't find it in the menus.

It is not possible to change it in the application. The only way is to change the Mac system settings for all your applications.

Will this change anytime soon?  The light background of the whole application and the note creates too much glare to be used on a regular basis.

 

Otherwise, is it possible to revert back from the new release for OS X?

It is hard to say, but from what I've heard Evernote staff say on these forums, customizability is not high on their agenda.
