I found the following instructions to encrypt data in Evernote notes:

You can encrypt text on Evernote for Mac or Evernote for Windows Desktop.

1. Open a note and highlight the text you wish to encrypt
2. Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select  "Encrypt Selected Text"

But I see no "Encrypt Selected Text" when I right click on highlighted text. HOW DO IN ENCRYP DATA?

The key phrase is "on Evernote for Mac or Evernote for Windows Desktop." Are you using the Mac or Windows desktop client (download and installed)? Or are you using the web client (via a browser)?
