cjamt 2 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Still stumbling around with Evernote. It seems that the 'file tree' is limited to the Stack and the Notebooks within the Stack. Is there a way to do a Stack within a Stack. i.e. a more complex file structure? Thanks, cjamt

Thanks, cjamt You could use klxdrt's method of "Sub-notes" and "Nano-notes" (including pasting everything you come across into a 9x9-cell table). Highly not recommended. If you can be flexible, you might want to give tags a try. As BnF pointed out... there are some pretty cool discussions in the forums on stacks/ notebooks/ tags etc. Here's how to create a lot of unnecessarily laborious admin for yourself (trying to imitate a limited folder-type setup): https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/72998-why-is-evernote-so-slooow/#entry316908
