Deleting checked off items in a list

I have created a to do list and checked off the items i have completed but cannot figure out how to remove just the checked off items and not the items i still need to complete.  Can anyone help?  This would be for windows desktop and android.

Evernote does not rearrange or remove items from your list.  If you want to delete completed items, simply delete them in one of the various ways you would delete anything else.  (IE, select/cut)

I create one individual TO-DO item / checkbox per note.

Once the checkbox is marked complete, it disappears from my list of open items. todo:false

I create one individual TO-DO item / checkbox per note.

Once the checkbox is marked complete, it disappears from my list of open items. todo:false

 

That is what i would like to do - where did you set this up for todo:false?  Thanks

It is one of Evernote search terms.

Just put it into the search field.
