Dear Evernote Team,

I found I cannot sync a note in a windows client.

Here is the logs:

16:29:20 [104264] 0% Connecting to www.evernote.com/edam/note/s85
16:29:20 [104264] 0% Retrieving 1 note
16:29:20 [104264] 0% Retrieving note "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

...

16:29:24 [104264] 100% Submitting a batch of 20 note calls, size=5.1MB
16:30:14 [104264] 100% No more data to read.
16:30:14 [108652] Client synchronization finished, status: failed
16:30:14 [108652] * elapsed time: 1m 1s

I don't know why I cannot sync the note generated by the web clipper.

Is it extends the free edition's capability? Or a simple bug in windows client.

Thanks in advance.

BR,

xiaoxue.

Hi - for one specific note I'd suspect more a corrupted note,  or some unusual coding that is is causing a problem.  Try creating a new note and copying the content across - or 'share' that note to your Evernote email address directly.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that you have created a note via the EN Web Clipper, and it will not sync to your EN Win client.

If this is correct, then you might try

  1. Delete the Note using the EN Web client (assumes you can easily recapture the contents)
  2. Sync EN Win
    1. Should now sync without error
  3. If no sync errors, you can try to recapture and resync to see if the problem is fixed.

If you still get a sync error on the clipped Note, I'd suggest submitting a BUG report via the EN Support Ticket (see link below).

Delete the note will work.

But I can open it by web or android client.

So in the most case, it is a bug or something else related to the windows client.

In that case it definitely sounds like a EN Win BUG.  Please submit an EN Support Ticket reporting the bug.
