Jamie McHale 1 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I would like to be able to edit the creation date of the notes I make in Android. I usually snap photos of documents and letters, and want to match the creation date to the letter date. I cannot currently edit this in Android, but have to switch to the Desktop version to do so.
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,630 Posted September 9, 2014 Evernote Expert Posted September 9, 2014 Agreed this access would be good - meantime you can use a text expander like Phrase Express to add dates in your preferred form to the note content...
neekoueb 1 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 It would be most useful to me if this feature was available in android as changing note dates is one of the few reasons I need a desktop away from the office.
HerbCSO 1 Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I would very much appreciate this feature as well!
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,630 Posted September 6, 2017 Evernote Expert Posted September 6, 2017 I just add significant dates to the note title. Text expanders will (currently) work fairly reliably there, so it's two taps (i have a few options) to add a prepared title outline including a current date, or a quick edit to add a 20170906 -style date if the important date is not today. An "intitle:<yyyymmdd>" search will find any relevant notes.
