peermeneer 1 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi ! In an older version of Evernote I made Notebooks in a Notebook, like this: Notebook Computer- Notebook pictures- Notebook workshops. Since I updated to a newer version, this not possible anymore. If I create a notebook BOOKS, i cannot make new notebooks in BOOKS anymore. Who can help me please??? Greetings Peermeneer

Then in 2008, it came out with Evernote the cloud service (versions 3, 4 & now 5) which has been wildly successful. However, besides one being Windows only & not a cloud service & the other being a multi platform cloud service, there are some other differences. One of those is that the cloud service has never had sub/nested notebooks & most likely will not in the near future, if ever. The recommendation is to use tags. There is plenty of discussion on the board on using tags vs sub/nested notebooks. Please use the search function. Additionally, you can make stacks. Stacks will group notebooks.
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted August 20, 2014 Level 5* Posted August 20, 2014 This hasn't been possible in new Evernote versions for at least 5 years or more. Notebooks cannot contain notebooks, they can only contain notes. You can organize notebooks into stacks. Stacks can contain notebooks (but not other stacks).
peermeneer 1 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Thanks for your answer. Now I use stacks in the future. Greetings Peter
