Mac syncing message

Is there a way to hide or not show the blue syncing & connecting messages that show occasionally in the bottom left of the Mac app? I find them just distracting & annoying.

I don't think there is any way to turn off the Sync Status message, other than to hide the entire Sidebar (OPT+CMD+S).

 

It's interesting how different people view this type of feature.  Some find it annoying, but some, like me, find it helpful.

Thanks. A nice simple solution :-) Hiding the sidebar does what I want, and I can set syncing back to 5 minutes.

I set sync to Manual, never shows the bar until I sync.  However if your the type that would forget to sync manually this may not be the best solution for you.
