How can i start using evernote

I am new user of evernote please help me start using evernote? I can not seem to be able to get past just getting the program to install on my pc.  I want to use the clipper function most of all.   I have a notebook  in evernote, I have the app on my cell and have sent things to my cell.  I can not get how to find the clipper on my taskbar on my browser and how to use it once I locate it.  I am new to windows 7 and together all of this has me frustrated.  my pc has windows 7 so please help me immediately for using evenote..
