clarker 1
Starting after today's update clicking a link in EN sends the browser there but in the background with no change in focus (to the browser). Can the old action be restored? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,074 Posted June 19, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted June 19, 2014 Hadn't noticed, but there was (presumably) a reason - what process do you use that needs the focus change? Is Evernote acting as a links library? (Apart from being nosy, a use case may help the developers appreciate the need for an option at least...) Link to comment
clarker 1
Many of my notes are links. I first thought there was no action as I didn't manually move to my browser. Additionally even an update check didn't reveal the no new updates messages until I minimized EN. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,074 Posted June 21, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted June 21, 2014 There's an option in the deskop client to open note links in a new window - try ticking / unticking that. There's no other settings that I'm aware of though - guess we'll have to wait and see whether this is included / revised in a future update... Link to comment
clarker 1
Changing that should change something but I'm not noting any difference. I can see the browser opening the link in a somewhat shaded area behind EN. Strange. Link to comment
clarker 1
All better. Must have had something to do with how EN was closed. Closed and reopened and OK now. Thanks. Link to comment
