ahagele 0 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Is there an easy way to do 'search notes' and then search inside notes in one go? eg.Note 1Line 1: text1Line 2: text1 Note 2Line 1: text1Line 2: text1 Using F6 to search notes comes up correctly with 'Note 1' and 'Note 2'.Now I want to look through note 1 and find all 'text1'To do that I need to type in the search string again by using Ctrl-F to search within a note. Shouldn't there a way to step through all the occurrences of all notes in one go?
ahagele 0 Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Sorry, typo in tag line: Should read Search F6 and Crtl-F combined

Evernote's strength is its search capabilities. It would be nice if both search terms worked together, but they do not. When searching multiple notes containing multiple uses of word, you are correct - at least 2 or more searches are required.https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/57897-how-do-i-find-a-searched-term-inside-the-indicated-documents/#entry274655
