Suggested feature: filter by author

You cannot now filter notes by author.  You can sort the list in a folder or in the all notes pile by author, but this is unwieldy when you have a lot of notes.

 

You can filter notes by folder and by tag.  Author should be the same way.

Are you sure you can't?  From the Evernote Search Grammar page:

 

author:[string] - will match notes that have an "author" attribute set with a name that matches the argument string. E.g.:

• author:"robert parker"
• author:robert*
• -author:*
  • Matches notes that have no "author" attribute set
