Galaxy SIII update - camera no longer works

Hi

 

I recently updated the OS for my SIII and the camera function no longer works - it says the device is unsupported. Before the update it worked fine. I can uncheck the 'multishot' function in settings to use the native camera app but I dont want to do this - I want to use the Evernote document camera functionality with multishot and skew fixing etc.

 

Does anyone know what the issue is? Im guessing the recent Samsung update was to Kit Kat and that this has caused the problem. Will I just have to wait for Evernote to patch the app to be compatible with KitKat? 

 

I just signed up for premium and had I know my ability to digitise paper material would be compromised so quickly, not sure that I would have. A bit frustrating.

Hi - what version of Android are you running?  Have a look in phone settings, More and About Device.  If it's 4.4,  you're on KitKat.  No way to downgrade AFAIK,  so unchecking the box is about your only option I'm afraid...
