(Archived) How can I change my username?

Trying to change my user name. I tried logging in and going to "Settings", not there. Be surprised if this cant be changed? Seems pretty basic... ??

Changing your username is pretty disruptive and a bit error-prone ... it breaks various URLs (like public notebooks), and requires reinitializing any local client databases, which are keyed off of the username.

For Free accounts, we recommend against bothering with this, but Premium accounts can contact Support to request a change using the link at the bottom of:

If you are not a premium user you can export all your Notes, create a new accout with the desired user name an re-import your notes there. I just did this and it works perfectly, all Tags, creation dates etc. stay untouched an appear exactly as in the old account.
