JohnY. 15
When I gain access to a shared notebook (someone invites me) I loose all control of what notes I see. My default view is ordered by Updated Date (with most recent at the top). The incoming notes from the shared notebook just drop on top and mess up my working view - to be more specific their presence means I can't so easily see the notes I have created which are more important to me - most of the time. Is there a way to keep the notes from a shared notebook out of the general view? - a toggle on /off would be the best way for me. thanks John Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,024 Posted January 28, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted January 28, 2014 Hi - welcome to the forums. There's no toggle as such but If you include your own notebooks in a stack and select that stack before a search, you'll automatically exclude the shared terms. Link to comment
JohnY. 15
Thanks gazumped Is it possible to run saved searches against the current context too? - if so how? regards John Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,024 Posted January 28, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted January 28, 2014 Not that I'm aware of - except that you can save the search text in a note and cut/ paste it into the search box; choose the drop-down next to the magnifying glass (Windows desktop) to select "search current context".
