Multiple Highlights in Same Document

Hello,

 

I've been trying to use Evernote as a highlighting tool, to create an article, highlight 3-4 relevant sentences that I deem valuable from said article, throw a tag on there and send it to my Evernote.

 

Essentially, I want to aggregate highlights/notes instead of having to aggregate entire articles that are highlighted with Evernote. I have been trying to do this for about a year now but have found no effective way to do this with Evernote, or any other tools for that matter.

 

If anyone has any suggestions on how to highlight multiple pieces of a document (similar to Diigo but with all other Evernote functionality, such as notebooks, etc), that would be amazing!

I don't think this is exactly what you want but it's somewhat similar. The difference being that you can highlight multiple sections of an article or full page clip (but you will get all the content that is part of the article or full page...)

To use this:

1) Open WC and set the preview to Article, Full page or Simplified article

2) Pick the HTML Highlighter tool as described here:

3) Make as many highligts as you want & save.

 

The described way of supporting multiple selections is something we are considering but hasn't scheduled at this point.
