Issue on Mac: Opens multiple windows

Running OSX 10.9 Evernote version 5.4.3 (402230)

 

Issue

Click on dock icon opens a new window even if one is already open

 

How to reproduce

Open Evernote, CMD+H to hide the window, click on the dock icon

 

Expected

Don't open a new window if one already is open

I got around this by disabling "Open note links from other applications in a new window" in preferences.

I got around this by disabling "Open note links from other applications in a new window" in preferences.

This did not work for me. This bug is annoying me to the point where I might stop using Evernote.

Happens to me too. Annoying. Please fix.

 ktusznio's suggestion worked for me. I set the preference, quit the app, relaunched, and the bug hasn't yet manifested since.

Same here. Multiple windows. OS X 10.9.3. Evernote 5.5.1 direct. Using ScanScap from Evernote Market as well, which seems to trigger some of my behaviors.
