(Archived) Searching within saved search results

Hi,

 

With Evernote 4.x, it was possible to select a saved search, and then search within the results of the saved search by just typing in the general search box.

 

This has now disappeared with Evernote 5.

 

Does anyone know how to replicate this functionality?

Try the dropdown arrow next to the search icon..

I think, in other words, that gazumped is suggesting that you select "Search Current Context" from that dropdown. If you choose that, Evernote will keep the current set of search criteria when you add stuff to the search bar. If you use this mode, you just need to remember to clear it when you want to start a new search, e.g. by using the F6 shortcut.
