seneca 0 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 How can I convert returned pdf files (formerly read by OCR) into WORD documents?
Level 5* gazumped 12,222 Posted August 11, 2013 Level 5* Posted August 11, 2013 Evernote can't do anything other than save and open the file for you. If you have a PDF editor it should be possible to load the file and use 'save as' or 'export' to save the content in a different format. Or you could use cut and paste from PDF to Word. An online search may give you some web-based options if you don't mind uploading the document. PDF to word conversions are sometimes temperamental and need editing if tables or pictures or detailed layout are involved.
seneca 0 Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 thanks for your answer. I have tried "cut and paste" - but since each word has a frame, it then appears in WORD as a column of single words (like you would have used the return key after each word. I there another way of doing it?
megsaint 441 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 You might see if this website is useful: http://www.online-convert.com/ I've mostly used it for converting PDFs into ebook formats. For that it works well. Best of luck.

Many full-featured PDF apps, like Adobe Acrobat, can export to Word.Do a google search on "export pdf to word"
