(Archived) syncing problem

One of my clients sent me a screen shot indicating a syncing problem in his Evernote. On the one hand, it indicates syncing completed, but on the other, it says "sync failed due to unexpected error on client side". Unfortunately, I can't communicate with the client for a couple of days, but sure would like to get to the bottom of this before I reconnect with him (I pushed him  to use Evernote and he is now rightfully concerned about his data). 

 

Does anyone have any idea what this error is, and what I should do about it?

It means that the syncing operation that just occurred completed (stopped), but it did not succeed. The next one might make it fine. His data is safe enough on the local machine, but yes, a sync would be better. I'd open a support request, particularly if there's no further clues in the activity log.
