Ryusuke 1
Hi, I would like to have a function for Evernote clients to merge notes in the reverse order on the fly and I am wondering if this function has been suggested in the forum already. I usually reverse the sort order then merge and reverse back the sort order after that and it is tedious. Regards, Ryu Link to comment

Ryusuke 1
Thank you for the info, but what is "click order?" I use Windows client and sometimes Web client. In the Windows client, I check "Notes by Updated" and "Reverse Sort Order"so that the latest updates come top. When I merge Notes, I would like older ones come first in the merged note. Thus "reverse the sort order then merge and reverse back the sort order." Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted July 2, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted July 2, 2013 "Click order" is the order in which you select the notes. As far as we know, merge order in Windows is the same as click order, i.e., the first note that you clicked will be on top, followed by the second note that you clicked, and so on. I'm guessing that this is the order that Windows presents the notes in when enumerating the selection, and is useful because it gives you fie-grained control over merge order. For range select (shift-clicking), I'm not so sure, but it appears to be note list sort order, no matter which order you select. Link to comment
Ryusuke 1
Thank you, all. "Click order" then "merge" gave me a desired ordered merged list. Link to comment
