(Archived) Scanner problem?

I am trying to get my neat mobile scanner to work with Evernote. While in note, I can right click and say import image. It sees my scanner and I can import image. Scan starts and then it never shows up! Is there another way to do this?  

 

I read in Windows version you can just scan to folder and set evernote to import it.

I read in Windows version you can just scan to folder and set evernote to import it.

This feature is not supported on the Mac client (and seeing how feature parity between the two clients apparently is no longer a priority it probably never will).

What you can do, though, is set up folder actions with Automator. You could choose to have Automator grab any .pdf-files in a folder (the one you scan documents into, say) and have Evernote open them.

It would open a new note for every document, though.
