(Archived) 100MB vs 1GB question

Hi,

I'm a free user preparing to upgrade to premium. I'm trying to understand the monthly limit. What applies to the 1GB limit and what applies to the 100MB limit?

For example: I'm considering using Evernote for recipes, and my wife has a fairly large collection, which we plan to just scan to .png and add to evernote - that will QUICKLY exceed 100MB in terms of those .png files. Does the 100MB limit apply there or is it 1GB.

Note size is limited to 100MB. Monthly upload is 1 GB.

I can't imagine how you would be scanning recipes that would exceed 100 MB for a png.

Cool - so that's PER note, not total - that was my sticking point.

jpg might be a more space-efficient format. It might be worth trying both, particularly as it won't be essential to have your scanned recipes in a lossless format like png. I've found jpgs to use something like 75% less space for typical scans.
