(Archived) 0 byte attachment, but the note shows 9.7 MB

I am running Version 3.3.0 (300201) for Mac. My OS is 10.8.1.

I had a 9.7 MB PDF saved in Evernote. I noticed though when I looked at the note, both on my Mac and the web client, it showed a 0 byte attachment. I could not figure out how to recover my PDF from within Evernote.

I was able to find my lost file using some command line work, so all is good. But why would this have happened and how can someone recover their attachment without having to open a shell window?

It happens to me sometimes.

Usually, the byte count goes back to normal after I quit and relaunch the desktop app. Try that.
