(Archived) table/spreadsheet?

Kinda new to EN, but is there a way or a plug-in for tables or spreadsheets?

I'd like to make a small database for things like model #s & serial#s of things. As just a note, the formating gets screwy. I'd prefer columns over 'tab' indents.T

No plug-ins are available.

Your best bet is to create a Note "template", using a table created in a word processor like Word.

In Word you can create a very nicely formatted table styled just as you like it, including title, "field names", etc.

Copy this table (not the file) into a Note that will be your template.

When you're ready to add a new item (model), just right-click on the Note template and select "Copy to..."

Then you can fill in the "fields" on the table in the Note.

Yes, using the standard Evernote sorting options (Title, Tags, Dates, etc).

Can't do any sorting within the Note.
