kerrplunk 1
Hi, I just started using Evernote on my new Android phone (a Samsung Epic Touch 4g running Android 4.0.4) and I would like to use Swype as my input keyboard in Evernote. I use it in other programs just fine, and in fact I picked an Android phone because iOS doesn't support slide-to-type keyboards. I've been pleased with the ease of using it in all the other Android apps. But I can't find a way to change the keyboard for Evernote... am I missing something? I know there are other Swypers and Shapewriters who use Evernote, but I haven't seen anything in the forums stating whether it's supported or not. Thanks in advance for your help. Link to comment
msbentley 13
Swype works for me (ye old Android 2.3.7) on both my phone (HTC Desire) and tablet (Nook Color) - as everywhere else it just pops up as the system keyboard. Not sure what EN should cause the stock, or another, keyboard to be launched...? Link to comment
Candid 167
I also use a swype keyboard with my two android devices and Evernote. Link to comment
kerrplunk 1
I figured it out... I had to bring up the keyboard settings with a long press on the keyboard settings key, and apparently the long press I had been trying wasn't long enough. Now it works fine. Thanks for your patience! Link to comment
